At ABC, the purpose for our daycare programs is simple: to enrich the lives of our dogs while providing a safe, enjoyable play that fosters a healthy, fun and Fear Free experience for all.

NOT ALL DOG DAYCARES ARE THE SAME

Because you are a responsible dog lover, you should be aware that some Daycares operate without proper education or written policies regarding safe group play. Many times dogs are simply put into a room or yard with unfamiliar dogs and left to roam or sleep all day. At ABC Pet Resort & Spa, we share your concerns about the safety and health of your dog. He will be assessed for temperament and play style to be sure he is a part of the perfect group for him. He will be monitored at all times by qualified and fun-loving staff. We know dogs love to please and perform, so our staff provides stimulating games and obedience tasks, such as group “sits” and “follow the leader.” ABC Pet Resort & Spa has a continuing education program for all of our Daycare Staff, so that they remain at the top of their game! You can be assured that they will watch and guide your dog to keep them safe and happy while at ABC Pet Resort & Spa.

Our goal is to build the best day for each individual dog! Successful canine friendships are often based on compatible play styles, since dogs naturally prefer to hang out with other dogs who share their idea of fun. Many dogs do enjoy a variety of play styles, though, and are happy to adapt to play with different companions. Some like to romp and roll, play chase, cheerlead, referee, and some dogs would rather play with humans than with other dogs, and that’s OK!

Made for the social butterfly! Our group play sessions are meticulously designed by pet size, age and play style. We know that dogs love to please and perform, so our group leaders provide stimulating games and practice obedience tasks, such as group sits, wait at the gate, name recall, follow the leader and much more!

Half Day

For the dogs that prefer play with humans, or dogs that need a break from all of their friends. Each attendee engages in activities to engage their minds and bodies one-on-one with a playtime specialist. During these sessions, it is all about what your pet enjoys most! From intense ball toss to relaxing massages, your pet will be pampered and come home calm and relaxed.

WHY WE STAND OUT

Because you are a responsible dog lover, you should be aware that some dog daycares operate without proper education or operations regarding safe group play. Many times dogs are simply put with unfamiliar dogs and left to roam, making them over aroused or sleeping all day. At ABC we follow strict protocols that ensure the safety and enjoyment of each dog. We provide structure with fluidity. If your pet has a day where they would prefer to lounge and be pampered, we adjust to their needs. If your pet starts showing more interest in socialization, we increase the time they get with their friends! It is all about your dog, as an individual!

HOW TO GET STARTED

Contact us to schedule an evaluation. After passing the required temperament test, your dog will have the opportunity to join one of our playgroups even while he/she is here for overnight boarding. Dogs in playgroups are separated into groups by their size, age and disposition.
